What is injection molding

  4. Cooling and Solidification: The plastic rapidly cools and solidifies inside the mold, taking on the desired shape. The cooling time depends on the type of plastic material used, as well as the size and thickness of the part.

  5. Mold Opening and Ejection: Once the cooling is complete, the mold is opened, and the finished part is ejected. Mold release agents may be used to facilitate smooth ejection. After ejection, the mold is ready for the next injection cycle.

  6. Post-processing and Finishing: The finished part may undergo post-processing steps such as trimming edges, surface finishing, painting, or applying labels. These steps can be tailored to the specific requirements of the product.
